Dato Lai Yit Loong is now the Executive Vice President of global sales and marketing with SilTerra, a Malaysia-based semiconductor wafer fabrication foundry specialising in Internet of Things (IoT), mixed signal CMOS, and power IC. Prior to SilTerra, he had worked with HP, Intel and Nvidia in various senior management roles in Asia and US. He is also an active angel investor, mentor and advisor for several internet and technology companies in US, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. He is also the founding member of Malaysia IoT Consortium. He completed his primary school from Han Chiang primary school in 1976 and did his secondary school in Chung Ling High School in Penang and River Valley High School in Singapore. He was an Asean Scholar and graduated with a degree in Computer Science from National University of Singapore in 1987.
